TEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides direct salary supplementation to K-12 teachers to improve student outcomes. We believe teacher quality is the most important in-school factor for student success, and we invest in educators as the most effective way to help kids thrive. We are in our early growth stage, piloting our model with partner schools in the Atlanta area and building the foundation for national scale.

The Advisory Council advises the Board of Directors on matters related to education, fundraising, and program development. Council members bring expertise, relationships, and a strategic perspective to help TEF grow its impact. The Advisory Council has no governance authority over the Corporation but plays a critical role in shaping strategy and opening doors.
This is not a "name on a letterhead" position. We are looking for people who will actively engage, make introductions, and help us reach the schools and donors that will accelerate our mission.
-
Attend Advisory Council meetings (minimum twice annually, with additional meetings as needed)
Provide strategic advice on fundraising, school partnerships, and program development
Make introductions to potential donors, corporate partners, school leaders, and community stakeholders
Help identify and cultivate relationships with schools and communities that could benefit from TEF's model
Assist with fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation events, campaigns, and grant opportunities
Serve on Advisory Council committees as needed (e.g., fundraising, community outreach, etc.)
Act as ambassadors for TEF's mission in your professional and community networks
